Fine Art Inkjet Prints or Giclee Prints up to 44 inches wide and any length are possible. Prints on Fine Art papers of cotton rag and canvas look wonderful and from a few feet away are hard to tell from the original. The pigmented inks and media are rated 80 to 130 years. Reproducing original Art or your original photographs with ink jet printing is far superior to conventional wet process printing. I work directly with Artists to get every color right on their limited edition Fine Art Prints. Institutions Private and Public use these fine prints to display works of high monetary value, they own, while the originals are safely and archivally stored. They look so good most people don't know they are prints. The inks and papers are rated to 80 to 130 years. The canvas is exceptionally strong, light and water resistant for carefree display. Facsimilies of Historic Artifacts for Public Display I work with many archivists, historical institutions and conservation groups to photograph, photo-restore and produce facsimilies for display. Many original manuscripts and documents which need to be seen by the public would be destroyed by light in a few short years so high quality facsimilies [prints] are produced for display. Artifacts of this type are priceless so usually I photograph on location in their archives. I photograph with careful attention to detail and always use safe procedures when photographing to protect the original artifact. I can extensively photo-restore, without touching the original, to repair and enhance the image. All photo-retouching is done by hand not electronic filtering to preserve original detail. Family Photographs in poor condition can be photo-restored and copies printed for the rest of your family to cherish. Great additions are portraits to accompany a family tree so popular today. All photo-restoration is done by had to save original details, not electronic filtering which destroys image. |
